RUNNING OF SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN KOCHUVELI AND SIR M. VISVESVARAYA TERMINAL, BENGALURU
Southern Railway has notified for running of Train No. 06211 / 06212 Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal – Kochuveli Weekly Express Special to clear extra rush of passengers as per details mentioned below:-
Train No. 06211 Kochuveli – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Weekly Express Special will depart from Kochuveli at 05:00 PM on 18.06.2023, 25.06.2023 and 02.07.2023 and arrive Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal at 10:00 AM the next day (Total – 3 Trips).
Train No. 06212 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal – Kochuveli Weekly Express Special will depart from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal at 01:00 PM on 19.06.2023, 26.06.2023 and 03.07.2023 and arrive Kochuveli at 06:50 AM the next day (Total – 3 Trips).
Enroute the train will have stoppages at Quilon, Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Chenganasseri, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Palghat, Podanur, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Dharmapuri and Hosur in both directions.
The train will have a composition of 2 AC two tier coaches, 6 AC three tier coaches, 1 AC three tier economy coach, 6 sleeper class, 1 – AC Pantry Car, 1 second class luggage cum brake vans with divyang jan coach, 1 generator – cum Luggage & Brake Van, 3 general second class and 1 – Parcel Van (Total 22 Coach).
The fare of the train will be 1.3 times of the normal fare.said Hubballi South Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Aneesh Hegde.
