ಇಎನ್‌ಎಲ್ ಅಣ್ಣಿಗೇರಿ: ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಎಮ್.ಬಿ.ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ್ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಅರುಣಕುಮಾರ ಹೂಗಾರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳು ಬೆಳೆದ ಬಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗ,ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ, ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ವಸ್ತು ನಿಷ್ಠ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ನೈಜ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ದಿಟ್ಟ ನಿರಂತರ ಸುದ್ದಿ ವರದಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆಂದು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ರಾಜೇಶ ಮಣ್ಣನವರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ, ಬಳಿಕೆಯ ಪೂರಕ ಮಾರಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮೂಲಕ ನೋಡಗರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳಿದಿದ್ದು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಕರ್ಷಿತರಾಗಿ, ಅಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಮಾಚಾರ ವಿಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿಂದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಆಂಗ್ಲ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ವಿ.ಡಿ.ಪಾಟೀಲ ಸ್ವಾಗತಕೋರಿ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಭಾರತಿ ಮಣ್ಣೂರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಅಂದರೆ ನಾರ್ಥ, ಇಸ್ಟ್, ವೆಸ್ಟ್, ಸೌಥ, ನಾಲ್ಕುದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಜಗತ್ತೀನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ಇನ್ನೀತರ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಡಾ.ಮೋತಿಲಾಲ ರಾಠೋಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಹತ್ವ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದರು. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಸಮಾಚಾರ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳು, ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ,ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮೀಡಿಯಾ, ವಾಟ್ಸಪ್. ಯುಟ್ಯುಬ್, ಟಿವಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ, ವಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜ್ಞಾನವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದರು.

Special Lecture on Importance of Media and Social Media
ENL Annigeri: M. B. Halli spoke in a special lecture program organized on media and social media at first grade college in the town.
Journalist Arunkumar Hoogara spoke and explained about the way, growth and status of media. He lectured that newspapers play an important role in the development of the nation by providing social justice through objective, transparent and bold continuous news reports.
Journalist Rajesh Mannavara spoke and told about media and social media and the subsequent collateral damage. He lectured on the need to be responsible and watchful as social media immediately caught the attention of the viewers through news promotion and became more attracted and they were spreading news in a short period of time.
V.D.Patila, head of the English Department, gave the welcome address.
Professor Bharti Mannura said that media and social media news i.e. North, East, West, South, from four directions of the world’s social, political, educational, economic and other news issues are helpful for students to gain general knowledge.
Dr. Motilala Rathoda, who presided, said that the students should know about the importance of media and social media in order to gain knowledge about the global issues of the world. Special news coverage of world affairs newspapers, social media, digital media, WhatsApp. They want to develop general knowledge through YouTube, TV media, and entertainment.
