ಇಎನ್‌ಎಲ್ ಅಣ್ಣಿಗೇರಿ: ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚಿಕ್ಕೋಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹಿರೇಕೋಡಿ ನಂದಿ ಆಶ್ರಮದ 108 ಕಾಮಕುಮಾರನಂದಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಖಂಡಿಸಿ, ಹತೈ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೈನ ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರು ಮೌನ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ ಎಮ್.ಎನ್.ಮಠದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಹಿಂಸಾ ಪರೋಮೋಧರ್ಮ ಎಂದು ಬಾಳಿದ ದಿಗಂಬರ ಜೈನ ಮುನಿಗಳ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಖಂಡನೀಯ, ಜೈನ ಮುನಿಗಳಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. ಆ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂತಕರಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ರೈತ ಮುಖಂಡ ಭಗವಂತ ಪುಟ್ಟಣ್ಣವರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಪುರಸಭೆ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಚಂದ್ರಕಾಂತ ನಾವಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜೈನ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜೈನ ಮುನಿಗಳ ಹತೈ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಸತ್ಯ ಅಹಿಂಸೆ, ತ್ಯಾಗದ ಶಾಂತಿಪ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಕರಾದ ಜೈನ ಮುನಿಗಳ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಖಂಡನೀಯ, ಇಂತಹ ಹತ್ಯೆಗಳು ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಜೈನ ಬಸದಿ ಜೈನ ಆಶ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಭದ್ರತೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರೇಡಿಲ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಷಣ್ಮುಖ ಗುರಿಕಾರ, ಮಹೇಶ ಅಂಗಡಿ, ರವಿರಾಜ ವೇರ್ಣೆಕರ, ಮಹೇಶ ದೇಸಾಯಿ, ಸಿ.ಜಿ.ನಾವಳ್ಳಿ, ಜೈನ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರು.ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮಾಜದ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ENL Annigeri: Jain community members in the town staged a silent protest and submitted a petition to Tehsildar MN Mathada, condemning the killing of 108 Kamakumaranandi Maharajas of Hirekodi Nandi Ashram in Chikkodi taluk of Belagavi district and demanding strict action against the perpetrators.
The killing of Digambara Jain sages who lived as non-violent paramodharma is condemnable, it is the duty of the government to provide protection to Jain sages. Against this backdrop, farmer leader Bhagwant Puttanna demanded that the murderers should be severely punished.
Municipal council member Chandrakanta Navalli said that the government should provide protection to the Jain community. Those accused of murdering Jain sages should be punished severely. The killing of Jain sages who are peaceful proponents of truth, non-violence and sacrifice is condemnable, the government should take appropriate action to prevent such killings from reoccurring. Jain Basadi demanded security protection for Jain ashrams.
