ENL DESK: The government has decided to make AC cabins mandatory in trucks from 2025 in order to provide more facilities to truck drivers who play an important role in the country’s freight transport system.
Recently, Congressman Rahul Gandhi conducted a truck yatra from Delhi to Chandigarh. He also traveled in America in a truck. Truck drivers in America have an AC cabin. But he said that truck drivers in India are getting paid. The Center has taken this action after that.
Truck drivers who spend a lot of time on the road are exposed to extreme hot and cold weather and experience problems. To avoid this it has been decided to make AC cabins mandatory. AC cabins will not only provide a better driving experience but also help in improving the health of the drivers. The Union Ministry of Highways said that the accident will be controlled.
2025ರಿಂದ ಟ್ರಕ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನ್ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ:ನಿರ್ಧಾರ
ದೇಶದ ಸರಕು ಸಾಗಣೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುವ ಟ್ರಕ್ ಚಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ 2025ರಿಂದ ಟ್ರಕ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನ್ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಗ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯಿಂದ ಚಂಡೀ ಗಢಕ್ಕೆ ಟ್ರಕ್ ಯಾತ್ರೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲೂ ಟ್ರಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಕ್ ಚಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಎಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನ್ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಕ್ ಚಾಲಕರು ಬವಣೆ ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಅದರ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.
ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳೆಯುವ ಟ್ರಕ್ ಚಾಲಕರು ಅತಿಯಾದ ಬಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಪಾದ ವಾತಾವರಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಎಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನ್‌ಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಾಲನಾ ಅನುಭವ ನೀಡುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಚಾಲಕರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ. ಅಪಘಾತ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ಹೇಳಿದೆ.
